On January 15 and 17, 2025, Junior Achievement Georgia representatives held meetings with stakeholders in Khashuri and Zugdidi, within the framework of the new project “Professional Training Programs to Support Rural Development and Green Transition”, the goal of which is to identify the skills and qualifications needed for green transition and rural development, in order to subsequently develop appropriate professional educational programs and implement these knowledge and skills. The project is part of the UNDP Georgia program, “Modernization of Vocational Education and Training in Agriculture and Rural Development”, funded by the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation and aims to support the development of additional training programs in the field of agriculture, rural development and niche production, in order to create opportunities for people living in rural areas to diversify their sources of income.
