“Junior Achievement Georgia” promotes the development of entrepreneurship, financial literacy and employment readiness skills among young people, which is in line with both the “Social and Economic Development Strategy of Georgia – Georgia 2020” and the “Unified Strategy of Education and Science 2017-2021”.
Currently, with the program and educational materials prepared by “Junior Achievement Georgia”, “Fundamentals of entrepreneurship” is taught in public schools, which is an optional subject.
If your school chooses this subject, we will include you in the US Agency for International Development (USAID) project “Supporting Entrepreneurship Education in Eastern Europe and Eurasia”, within the framework of which we offer the following services free of charge:
- teacher training;
- Involvement of the teacher in various workshops;
- transfer of necessary resources and materials for all teachers and students;
- participation in local and international competitions, exhibitions and sales and innovation camps;
- Consultations about teaching through the hotline (0322 383676 and 558 591195);
- To include students in the international certification process of Entrepreneurship Skill Pass (ESP).
The Entrepreneurial Skills Pass (ESP) is an entrepreneurial skills certification program with standards established in Europe for pupils and students aged 15 to 25; Completing the “Entrepreneurship” program will provide you with the necessary skills and competencies that will help you start your own business or successfully find employment.
Passing ESP proves that the pupil/student possesses entrepreneurial skills and competencies, which gives him a concrete advantage when entering the labor market, increases the chance of employment, gives employers a clear picture of potential candidates.
At the end of the training, “Junior Achievement Georgia” issues an international certificate of complete completion of the course, which is recognized in 123 countries of the world.
“Junior Achievement Georgia” has been promoting entrepreneurial education programs in Georgia since 2002. It is the JA world representative in the Republic, its programs are recognized by the European Training Foundation (ETF), the European Commission and various international organizations.
