The presented game is an educational computer project created by the Georgia Primary Education Project (G-PriEd) of the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) called STEMer, which is focused on the so-called STEM (Science-S, Technology-T, Engineering-E and Mathematics-M ) on skill development.
As you know, the 21st century is the century of technology, young people need to develop STEM skills from childhood so that they can easily navigate the competitive environment of modern technology in the future.
The STEM game, which is part of the VI grade program “Our Country”, is the first Georgian 3D format educational game, which is focused on the development of STEM skills in students. Since one of the directions of the business skills program is employment readiness, in the game students will find information about 51 professions, which will give them a clear idea about each profession and help them to choose a professional direction.
Worldwide research shows that video games increase the gray matter in the right side of the brain, which develops spatial navigation, strategic planning, working memory and motor skills. Nowadays, in the modern world, video games are actively used as educational tools.
The STEM game created within the USAID Georgia Primary Education Project is focused on developing the following skills in students:
- Creating an idea about the professions included in the game and profiling

- Getting ready for a multi-component task
- Adapting to the environment and getting used to it
- Coping with disappointment and change
- Determination of risks
