{"id":1560,"date":"2024-07-31T16:16:57","date_gmt":"2024-07-31T12:16:57","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/features.ge\/projects\/yes-georgia\/"},"modified":"2024-08-28T10:49:02","modified_gmt":"2024-08-28T06:49:02","slug":"yes-georgia","status":"publish","type":"projects","link":"https:\/\/jag.ge\/en\/projects\/yes-georgia\/","title":{"rendered":"YES &#8211; Georgia"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Junior Achievement Georgia (JAG), in partnership with the Crystal Foundation, the microfinance organization Crystal, and with the financial support of USAID, are implementing the project: &#8220;Youth Entrepreneurial Skills, Employment and Income Generation Support Program in Georgia&#8221; (YES-Georgia).<\/p>\n\n<p>The program aims to increase the self-employment and employment opportunities of Georgian youth through youth enterprises, innovative delivery of relevant skills and new discourses.<\/p>\n\n<p>The YES-Georgia project, through the JA Georgia component, aims to develop consumer, economic, social, critical thinking, decision-making, problem-solving, leadership and planning skills among schoolchildren, which forms the basis for the development of entrepreneurial skills and prepares young people for economic to achieve success in the field. Thus, YES-Georgia, in cooperation with JA Georgia, will expand the target group of beneficiaries among students of classes X, XI and XII.<\/p>\n\n<p><strong>Within the framework of mutual cooperation, the project YES &#8211; Georgia:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>will prepare the program &#8220;Be an entrepreneur&#8221; in Georgian, along with additional materials;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>will train 30 school teachers who will be divided into 3 groups (at least 10 teachers in each group), who will receive 15 hours of teacher training;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>JA Georgia will conduct a special course &#8220;Be an entrepreneur&#8221; to 600 young people (10th, 11th and 12th grade students from 30 schools) throughout Georgia;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>will hold two competitions, identify the best business plan and ensure the study of the winners in the &#8220;School of Young Entrepreneurs&#8221;, which was created within the framework of the YES Georgia project;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>It provides activity monitoring, evaluation, as well as online consultations for trainers.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p><strong>The goal of the Junior Achievement program &#8220;Be an entrepreneur!&#8221;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p>The goal of the Junior Achievement program, &#8220;Be an Entrepreneur!&#8221;, is to promote entrepreneurial initiatives by students in upper grades through the study of the basic components of a business plan.<\/p>\n\n<p><strong>Students participating in the program will be able to:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>getting to know the qualities and practical skills of a successful entrepreneur;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>evaluating the entrepreneurial idea through product, customer and competitive advantage criteria;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Demonstrate business planning skills in entrepreneurial ventures, marketing, managerial, financial and ethical decision-making.  <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\u00a0<\/h4>\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Modules:<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n<p><strong>Module One:<\/strong> <strong>Introduction to Entrepreneurship<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p>Students will get to know the elements of starting a successful business, myths and facts about entrepreneurship, participate in a product creation competition.<\/p>\n\n<p><strong>Module Two: What is my business?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p>Students take on the roles of various entrepreneurs to develop a product or service idea, analyze the sources of successful entrepreneurship to select a product or service for their business plan.<\/p>\n\n<p><strong>Module Three: Who is my customer?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p>A group of students creates and presents an application to demonstrate how market needs as well as target groups contribute to successful entrepreneurship.<\/p>\n\n<p><strong>Module Four: What are my preferences?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p>Students evaluate actual companies that have been able to select and use competitive advantages.<\/p>\n\n<p><strong>Module Five: Competitive Advantage<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p>Students begin a game that reflects an effective competitive advantage and allows them to choose the best entrepreneurial activity for them.<\/p>\n\n<p><strong>Module Six: Ethics for Business<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p>Students learn how necessary and important ethics are for the long-term development of business.<\/p>\n\n<p><strong>Module Seven: Business Plan<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p>Students apply the key elements of successful entrepreneurs to their product or service and create a business plan.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"featured_media":1401,"template":"","meta":{"_acf_changed":false},"class_list":["post-1560","projects","type-projects","status-publish","has-post-thumbnail","hentry"],"acf":[],"post_mailing_queue_ids":[],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/jag.ge\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/projects\/1560","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/jag.ge\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/projects"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/jag.ge\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/projects"}],"version-history":[{"count":1,"href":"https:\/\/jag.ge\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/projects\/1560\/revisions"}],"predecessor-version":[{"id":1561,"href":"https:\/\/jag.ge\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/projects\/1560\/revisions\/1561"}],"wp:featuredmedia":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/jag.ge\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media\/1401"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/jag.ge\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=1560"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
