Students elect a company&#8217;s board of directors from among their peers, in accordance with the program&#8217;s rules, raise capital, market and sell the product or service they have chosen and produced. At the end of the program, they prepare and present a report to their shareholders. Simplified models of &#8220;market&#8221;, &#8220;enterprise&#8221;, &#8220;tax system&#8221; are used for educational purposes.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\u00a0<\/h4>\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Objectives of the program:<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>study of the basic foundations of business and economics in action (in practice);<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Development of practical entrepreneurial skills for students;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>motivation to receive education and stimulation of the development of general professional skills;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Preparation for choosing a future specialty, taking into account inherent skills and aspirations and the current situation in the labor market;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>creation of conditions for the development of personal, business and leadership qualities;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Involvement of business and community representatives in the educational process.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\u00a0<\/h4>\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Competencies developed by the program:<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>socio-psychological preparation for professional activity;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>teamwork and leadership skills;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>communication and presentation skills;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>negotiation and decision-making skills;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>self-confidence and &#8220;can-do&#8221; attitude;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>creative thinking and problem solving skills;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>the skills of setting a goal and achieving it;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Information gathering, assessment and risk management skills.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\u00a0<\/h4>\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Main issues of the program:<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>business idea development;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>establishment of the enterprise and distribution of duties in the company;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>consumer market research, determination of a competitive product or service;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>fundraising;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>procurement, production, marketing and sales planning;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>management of production finances;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Production of business documentation.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\u00a0<\/h4>\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Target age of the program:<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>15-20 years (10th, 11th, 12th grades).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\u00a0<\/h4>\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Number of students:<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The program can be implemented in small teams of 2 to 35 students. Usually, if more than 15 students are involved in the program, it is better to form several companies.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\u00a0<\/h4>\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Duration of the program:<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>1 academic year.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\u00a0<\/h4>\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Implementation of the program:<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The implementation of the program is managed by &#8220;Junior Achievement Georgia&#8221; in those schools that choose &#8220;Fundamentals of Entrepreneurship&#8221; as an additional subject;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>&#8220;Companies&#8221; must register at the &#8220;Junior Achievement Georgia&#8221; office to be assigned an organization code and a registration certificate;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The program will be taught at the school by a teacher or volunteer trained by &#8220;Junior Achievement Georgia&#8221;, who will be provided with a free electronic manual and methodical materials;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>It is possible to include an invited business consultant in the implementation of the company&#8217;s program, whose visits are planned by the teacher.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\u00a0<\/h4>\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Additional features of the program:<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Students will participate in exhibitions and sales and competitions. 10 best companies will be selected across Georgia, among which a competition will be held to identify the &#8220;Company of the Year&#8221;.
